Bowey scores twice, Chartier nets shootout winner as Rockets beat Royals 4-3

KELOWNA, B.C. – Rourke Chartier obtained the shootout champion because the Kelowna Rockets defeated the Victoria Royalty 4-3 in WHL action on Wednesday evening. Madison Bowey, with two goals, including a game title-tying marker with 47.7 seconds residing in the overall game, and Jesse Lees obtained for Kelowna (47-16-4). Jamie Crooks, together with his 32nd goal of year, Jack Master and Austin Carroll, at 18:45 from the third to really make it 3-2, responded for Victoria (32-27-7).

The Royalty obtained two times within the second to level the score at 2-2 after 40 minutes. Coleman Vollrath stopped 27 shots for that Royalty, who lost 6- in Kamloops on Tuesday evening. Jordon Cooke made 20 saves for that Rockets, who play a house-and-home set with Kamloops this Friday and Saturday.
